A recent survey ranked Boston as one of the top 3 cities in the US for people in the 20-24 age group, and I’m not the least bit surprised!
I might be a little bit older than Zoomers, but I can say without a doubt that I’d never want to live anywhere else because Boston has SO much to offer. It’s a beautiful, metropolitan city with countless amenities, and it’s the perfect place for young adults to launch their future.
Here are just a few reasons so many Zoomers are calling Boston home:
- Educational Opportunities
Boston has, ahem, a few colleges you might have heard of… Tufts University, Boston College, Northeastern University – and those are just a few of the ones in Boston proper. Boston is just a hop, skip, and a jump from some of the top universities in the entire WORLD!
If you’re looking for a great education, why would you go anywhere else?
- The Green Scene
Boston offers more green commute options than many other major US cities, and that’s a big point in its favor among environmentally conscious Gen Zers. Whether you prefer walking, biking, rideshares or mass transit, Boston has it all.

Zoomers are young, cool, and ready for fun, and Boston is ready to answer the call. We’ve got parks, sports, stadiums, museums, and an AWESOME downtown scene. When you’re looking for a good time, you’re going to find it in Boston.

College doesn’t last forever, and after graduation you’re going to need a great job. You’ll have no shortage of incredible opportunities here! Boston boasts low unemployment rates and is proud to be the home of some of the largest companies in the US.
