Boston has so much to offer!
It is a place where lifelong friendships are forged, families grow, and businesses are launched. Boston is a small city with a fun, “college town” vibe – no surprise since it’s home to 66 colleges and universities in the Greater Boston area alone!
Boston is also the perfect place for diehard sports fans! Football, basketball, baseball, and hockey – we’re all rooting for the home team here. And don’t forget about one of our most important annual events – the Boston Marathon. Whether you cheer from the sidelines, or join the race, you won’t want to miss this iconic Boston experience.
Boston is tons of fun, but it’s also a city of great historical significance. It’s our country’s oldest city, and the site of some of the fiercest Revolutionary battles. Tea, anyone???
These days, Boston is home to a diverse, cosmopolitan population. You’ll hear multiple languages spoken in every neighborhood. People come here for the education, the healthcare, and the diverse jobs, but they stay because of inclusive, welcoming spirit of the city.
Making the move…
As you might expect in such an in-demand city, the real estate is expensive. Houses are often smaller and older than in other parts of the country, but Boston more than makes up for it with incredible cultural offerings, public transportation, education, healthcare and safety. Oh, and let’s not forget the close proximity to the beach!
The key to making the move to Boston is starting with a real estate agent who knows the city, the different neighborhoods, and the surrounding area. Those of us who grew up here know the up-and-coming neighborhoods where you may be able to get in for a price point that is going to only go up in value. I know and love this city, and I pride myself on being able to pinpoint the neighborhood that will be a great value for my client.
I’m so proud to call Boston my home. I could never imagine living anywhere else (even though I might have to remind myself of the city’s charms on those cold, snowy days!) I’d love to welcome you to my hometown and show you around. If you think Boston might be the place for you, let’s talk!
